τοὺς μὲν οὗν ἄνδρας τοὺς συμποδίσαντας τοὺς περὶ τὸν Ἀζαρίαν ἐξελθοῦσα ἡ φλὸξ ἐκ τῆς καμίνου ἐνεπύρισε καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν, αὐτοὶ δὲ συνετηρήθησαν.

Therefore the flame that came out from the furnace set on fire and killed the men who had bound Azariah and his companions, but they themselves were preserved.
