↵ Daniel 6 ἐπιγνοὺς δὲ Δανιὴλ τὸν ὁρισμὸν ὃν ἔστησε κατʼ αὐτοῦ, θυρίδας ἤνοιξεν ἐν τῷ ὑπερῷῳ αὐτοῦ κατέναντι Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ ἔπιπτεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ τρὶς τῆς ἡμέρας, καθὼς ἐποίει ἔμπροσθεν, καὶ ἐδεῖτο. καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐτήρησαν τὸν Δανιὴλ, καὶ κατελάβοσαν αὐτὸν εὐχόμενον τρὶς τῆς ἡμέρας καθʼ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν.

But when Daniel had recognized the decree which had been set up against him, he opened the windows in his upper room opposite Jerusalem, and he fell upon his face three times a day, as he had done before, and he prayed. And they kept watch on Daniel, and they captured him praying three times a day, each day.
