Didache 1:5

Give to everyone who asks you and do not demand anything back, for the Father wants to give to all from his own gifts. Blessed is the one who gives according to the commandment, for he is innocent. Woe to the one who receives; if innocent, he will be acquitted, but the one who has no need will pay the penalty for why he took and for what purpose. Having become subject to conscience, he will be examined concerning what he did, and he will not go out from there until he pays back the last penny.
