Ἐξῆλθε δὲ Μωυσῆς ἀπὸ Φαραὼ ἐκτὸς τῆς πόλεως, καὶ ἐξέτεινε τὰς χεῖρας πρὸς Κύριον· καὶ αἱ φωναὶ ἐπαύσαντο, καὶ ἡ χάλαζα καὶ ὁ ὑετὸς οὐκ ἔσταξεν ἔτι ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν.

Moses went out from Pharaoh outside of the city, and he stretched out his hands toward the Lord, and the voices ceased, and the hail and the rain no longer poured upon the land.
