Καὶ τοιοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ἀπεκρίθησαν ἡμῖν, λέγοντες, ἡμεῖς ἐσμὲν δοῦλοι τοῦ Θεοῦ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ οἰκοδομοῦμεν τὸν οἶκον ὃς ἦν ᾠκοδομημένος πρὸ τούτου ἔτη πολλὰ, καὶ βασιλεὺς τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ μέγας ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτὸν, καὶ κατηρτίσατο αὐτὸν αὐτοῖς.

And they answered us with such a word, saying, We are slaves of the God of heaven and of the earth, and we are building the house which was built before this many years, and a great king of Israel built it and completed it for them.
