Καὶ εἶδον οἱ κάτοικοι τῆς γῆς Χαναὰν τὸ πένθος ἐπὶ ἅλωνι Ἀτὰδ, καὶ εἶπαν, πένθος μέγα τοῦτό ἐστι τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκάλεσε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ, Πένθος Αἰγύπτου, ὅ ἐστι πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου.
