Καὶ ἀφήσει Κύριος τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα τοῦ μὴ ἐξᾶραι αὐτὰ τὸ τάχος, καὶ οὐ παρέδωκεν αὐτὰ ἐν χειρὶ Ἰησοῦ.

And the Lord will allow these nations to remain, not destroying them quickly, and he did not deliver them into the hand of Joshua.
