Καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἄνδρες τῆς πόλεως πρὸς Ἰωὰς, ἐξένεγκε τὸν υἱόν σου, καὶ ἀποθανέτω, ὅτι καθεῖλε τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ Βάαλ, καὶ ὅτι ὠλόθρευσε τὸ ἄλσος τὸ ἐπʼ αὐτῷ.

And the men of the city said to Joash, Bring out your son, and let him die, because he tore down the altar of Baal, and because he destroyed the grove that was upon it.
