Καὶ ἐπικράνθησαν οἱ ἄρχοντες ἐπὶ Ἱερεμίαν, καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν, καὶ ἀπέστειλαν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Ἰωνάθαν τοῦ γραμματέως, ὅτι ταύτην ἐποίησαν εἰς οἰκίαν φυλακῆς.

And the rulers were angered at Jeremiah, and they struck him, and they sent him into the house of Jonathan the scribe, because they had made this into a house of prison.
