Οὕτως εἶπε Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς Ἰσραὴλ, ὑμεῖς γυναῖκες τῷ στόματι ὑμῶν ἐλαλήσατε, καὶ ταῖς χερσὶν ὑμῶν ἐπληρώσατε, λέγουσαι, ποιοῦσαι ποιήσομεν τὰς ὁμολογίας ἡμῶν ἃς ὡμολογήκαμεν, θυμιᾷν τῇ βασιλίσσῃ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ σπένδειν αὐτῇ σπονδάς· ἐμμείνασαι ἐνεμείνατε ταῖς ὁμολογίαις ὑμῶν, καὶ ποιοῦσαι ἐποιήσατε.

Thus said the Lord the God of Israel: You women spoke with your mouth and with your hands you have fulfilled it, saying, We will certainly perform our vows which we have made, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and to pour out libations to her. You have persisted in your agreements, and you have indeed carried them out.
