Jonah 3:8

Καὶ περιεβάλλοντο σάκκους οἱ ἄνθρωποι καὶ τὰ κτήνη, καὶ ἀνεβόησαν πρὸς τὸν Θεὸν ἐκτενῶς· καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν ἕκαστος ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτῶν τῆς πονηρᾶς, καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς ἀδικίας τῆς ἐν χερσὶν αὐτῶν, λέγοντες,

    cried out
    they cried out

    earnestly

  17. καὶ

  18. ἀπέστρεψαν
    they turned away
    they returned, they turned back
  19. ἕκαστος
    each
  20. ἀπὸ
    from
  21. τῆς
    of the
    the
  22. ὁδοῦ
    way
    road
  23. αὐτῶν
    their
    of them
  24. τῆς
    of the
    the
  25. πονηρᾶς
    evil

And the people and the cattle were clothed in sackcloth, and they cried out earnestly to God, and each turned away from their evil way and from the injustice in their hands, saying,
