Τεσσαράκοντα γὰρ ἐτῶν ἤμην ὅτε ἀπέστειλέ με Μωυσῆς ὁ παῖς τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐκ Κάδης Βαρνῆ κατασκοπεῦσαι τὴν γῆν· καὶ ἀπεκρίθην αὐτῷ λόγον κατὰ τὸν νοῦν αὐτοῦ.
