Καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Μανασσῆ ἐξολοθρεῦσαι τὰς πόλεις ταύτας· καὶ ἤρχετο ὁ Χαναναῖος κατοικεῖν ἐν τῇ γῇ ταύτῃ.

And the sons of Manasseh were not able to destroy these cities, and the Canaanite began to dwell in this land.
