Καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐξέβησαν οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ αἴροντες τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου ἐκ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου, καὶ ἔθηκαν τοὺς πόδας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὥρμησε τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου κατὰ χώραν, καὶ ἐπορεύετο καθὰ χθὲς καὶ τρίτην ἡμέραν δι ὅλης τῆς κρηπίδος.

And it happened that as the priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord disembarked from the Jordan and placed their feet upon the earth, the water of the Jordan rushed back to its place and was going as yesterday and the day before through the whole bank.
