Καὶ ὁ λαὸς ἀνέβη ἐκ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου· καὶ κατεστρατοπέδευσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἑν Γαλγάλοις κατὰ μέρος τὸ πρὸς ἡλίου ἀνατολὰς ἀπὸ τῆς Ἱεριχώ.
