Οὕτως λέγει Κύριος, ποῖον τὸ βιβλίον τοῦ ἀποστασίου τῆς μητρὸς ὑμῶν, ᾧ ἐξαπέστειλα αὐτήν; ἢ τίνι ὑπόχρεῳ πέπρακα ὑμᾶς; ἰδοὺ ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις ὑμῶν ἐπράθητε, καὶ ταῖς ἀνομίαις ὑμῶν ἐξαπέστειλα τὴν μητέρα ὑμῶν.

Thus says the Lord, what is the book of divorce of your mother by which I sent her away? Or to which creditor have I sold you? Behold, you were sold for your sins, and for your lawless deeds I sent away your mother.
